Libby Yu has been in demand as piano teacher as her students have consistently maintained a keen interest in making beautiful music.  Her students have achieved high honours in the Royal Conservatory of Toronto examinations and receive high awards in national and local music competitions. She has been adjudicator of the Burnaby Clef Society Festival, the British Columbia Conservatory of Music Festival, the North Shore Music Festival and the Vancouver Workshop Music Festival, and has taught secondary piano at the New England Conservatory of Music and at the University of British Columbia. Libby has a special interest in developing the musical skills of her students, encouraging them to share their talents with others and also trains and equips them with tools to serve in the church ministry.   All students to perform in bi-annual student recitals, and senior students are presented in their own solo recitals.
